Aleksandra Moe, PT, DPT

Aleksandra Moe joins Endurance Physical Therapy with nine years of industry experience as a physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mount St. Joseph. She is also a STOTT Pilates instructor since 2012 with experience teaching group and individual sessions as well as incorporating the principles of Pilates with her patients. Aleksandra’s expertise in the field encompasses multiple subspecialties including women's health pelvic floor physical therapy, traditional sports medicine, performing arts population, and general orthopedics. She joins our practice from the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, where she initiated and oversaw the Performing Arts Medicine Program for 8 years having worked with the rhythmic gymnasts, martial artists, musicians, Cincinnati Ballet, Joffrey Ballet non-company dancers, S.T.A.R.S office screening, Dance USA screening, and USA gymnastics. Aleksandra has also worked with many major and minor league baseball athletes and assisted them with their return to competition. Her insight and deep-rooted knowledge in physical therapy have led her to speak at various symposiums such as the Chicago Sports Medicine Society, in-house continuing education courses, and injury screens at dance studios, gymnastics gyms, and ice skating rinks throughout the North Shore.

What has catapulted Aleksandra to the top of her field is her commitment to her patients and unique healthcare philosophy whereby she addresses not only the physical but also the psychological impacts of injury and pain on various lifestyles. Over the course of her career, she has not only developed rooted relationships with the North Shore population as well as great relationships with physicians in the community, which have allowed her to provide comprehensive care in post-operative treatment, chronic pain, and general musculoskeletal injuries. Aleksandra strongly believes in empowering her patients through better education, self-advocacy, symptom management, and "future-proofing" their bodies to prevent recurring injury.

Aleksandra is married with two kids and enjoys spending time at home with her family and their pet Boston Terrier Bogey. She is also a self-proclaimed foodie and HGTV junkie who enjoys gardening, cooking, being outdoors, traveling, and listening to live music. Aleksandra speaks fluent Russian and conversational Spanish.
