Olga Zemlekova, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, CAPP-Pelvic

Dr. Zemlekova graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2012. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2018. While working on her Doctorate, she received a 1st place group award for platform presentation by the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy for research in orthopedic manual therapy. After graduating from RFUMS, she spent the next few years working at Lake County Physical Therapy where she found her passion for Pelvic Floor and Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and received mentorship by outstanding physical therapists. At LCPT, she also became a clinical educator to over 25 students, sharing her knowledge and love for physical therapy with future colleagues. In 2021, Dr. Zemlekova received a Certification in Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (CAPP-PF) through the American Physical Therapy Association. Then she further continued to advance her knowledge through the Herman and Wallace Institute.

Immediately after receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, she started practicing a 4-year long process to advance her education with the Manual Therapy Institute. As part of the process, she completed over 400 hours with one of the most renowned orthopedic manual physical therapists in the country, Dr. David Graziano. In 2023 she received one of the highest and most respected accreditations in the field of physical therapy, becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists.

Dr. Zemlekova’s core professional values are education, communication, and compassion, as these are an integral part of health care. Her focus has always been on achieving excellent patient outcomes and improving the quality of life of her patients.
